Frequently Asked Question
As synthetic fields are used more and more, we have noticed that sometimes small pieces of plastic from synthetic fields are found inside the USB ports of the sensors or the Docking.
Consequences
Any small pieces of plastic and/or a large amount of dust inside the USB ports can hinder the connection between the USB connectors. As a result, it becomes difficult, if not impossible, to use the sensors correctly.
Indeed, this would cause difficulties or the impossibility of correctly charging the sensors, or synchronizing the sensors with the Docking or connecting the sensors to your PC.
What to do ?
For these reasons, we recommend that you regularly check the status of the USB ports of your sensors as well as the Docking.
If you notice that there are small pieces of plastic or dust inside the USB port, please remove them with small pliers.
How to avoid it?
To prevent these small pieces of plastic from ending up in the USB ports as much as possible, we recommend that, if possible, you do not place the sensors and/or the Docking on the ground. This is a general recommendation, however it is particularly important on artificial pitches.
Also avoid putting the sensors and the Docking in a bag containing this type of small pieces of plastic. Do the the transportation movements in the bag, these small plastics could end up in the USB ports.
